It is heard that Kamal Haasan was to attend the London Indian Film Festival (LIFF) this weekend. He is supposed to receive the Lifetime Achievement award at the event. It seems he may not attend the event due to minor leg fracture.
Kamal had recently completed the first schedule of his upcoming movie ‘Sabash Naidu’. He is currently busy with the pre-production work for the second schedule, which is likely to take place in Hyderabad.
TK Rajeev Kumar is directing the movie, which is being produced by Kamal Haasan under the banner of Raaj Kamal Films International (RKFI).
Music Maestro Ilayaraja will score the music for the movie. It may be recalled here that Kamal Haasan and the legendary musician teamed up after a gap of 11 years.
‘Sabash Naidu’ also features Shruti Haasan, Ramya Krishanan, Brahmanandam and many others in key roles. Kamal Haasan’s second daughter Akshara Haasan is reportedly assisting the filmmaker of the movie.
The film is being simultaneously shot in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Kamal Haasan will essay the role that is based on Balram Naidu, a character from Tamil movie ‘Dasavatharam’.
