Nagarjuna-Karthi’s Oopiri Teaser Review

Tollywood handsome hero Nagarjuna and Karthi multi-starrer ‘Oopiri’ teaser has been released on February 20, 2016. A 50-second video of the film gives a brief introduction about the lead actors.

Rich visuals of the teaser attracted the audience and it has a glimpse of Karthi, Nagarjuna and Tamanna Bhatia. The teaser generated curiosity among the audience without revealing much about the storyline.

‘Oopiri’ is simultaneously being made in Tamil with the title ‘Thozha’. Cine-goers are appreciating the excellent work of cinematographer PS Vinod for showing rich visuals. The good looks of all the three actors in teaser is outstanding.

Nagarjuna and Karthi fans started trending about the movie on social networking platforms with different hash tags. Vamsi Paidipally directed the film while PVP produced it.

Actors Prakash Raj, Jayasudha, Ali and others play key roles in the film. Actors Shriya Saran, Anushka Shetty, Adivi Sesh and a few other celebrities did guest appearances in the bilingual film, which was simultaneously made in Telugu and Tamil.

Currently, the post-production work is going on at a rapid pace. The filmmakers are planning to launch the audio on February 28. An official confirmation is awaited.

Rumors are in rife that the movie is likely to hit the screens on March 25. ‘Oopiri’ is the remake of French movie ‘The Intouchables’. It tells the story of a quadriplegic millionaire and an emotionally challenged person.

Nagarjuna will be seen as a physically challenged man while Karthi plays his caretaker in the film. It is heard that Nagarjuna will be seen in a never-seen-before avatar.

Director Vamsi Paidipally has reportedly made some changes in the script in order to suit the tastes of South Indian audience.

‘The Intouchables’ is a French comedy drama, which is about the relationship between a quadriplegic patient and his caretaker. It is a story about a millionaire from Paris and he hires Karthi as his caretaker, after he met with an accident.

The story of the movie revolves around how Karthi assists Nagarjuna and wins his love. The French film has won many accolades both critically and commercially and was also nominated for several international awards.
