Vijay’s ‘Theri’ Teaser To Be Attached To Atharvaa’s Kanithan

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Theri teaser will be attached to actor Atharvaa’s forthcoming film ‘Kanithan’. It is known that the teaser of Theri movie created a huge storm on the social media.

Now, it is getting ready to thrill the audience in theaters. ‘Producer Kalaipuli S Dhanu is planning to attach ‘Theri’ teaser to ‘Kanithan’, according to a Sify report.

The makers of ‘Theri’ is planning to make Vijay’s film reach a large number of audience. It may be noted here that Kalaipuli S Dhanu is the producer to both the movies, ‘Theri’ and ‘Kanithan.’

Atharvaa’s ‘Kanithan’ is touted to be an action-thriller. Director TN Santosh has directed the film. Actress Catherine Tresa plays the female lead and Taruna Arora will be seen in an important role in the film.

‘Kanithan’ will hit the screens on February 26 and a concept on fake educational certificates will be highlighted in the movie.

On the other hand, ‘Theri’ teaser gained tremendous response from the audience across the globe following its release on February 5. The teaser marked 10 Lakh hits in less than 12 hours and it reached the 20 Lakh mark in one day.

‘Theri’ teaser was viewed over 50 Lakh times on YouTube in about four days. Now, it is heading towards 1 Crore hits, which will be a rare feat for a Tamil flick.

‘Theri’ will become the second movie in Kollywood to achieve the milestone, after Vikram’s ‘I’. The teaser has also become the most-liked Tamil teaser on YouTube garnering over 2.7 Lakh likes.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay was seen in multiple avatars in the 50-second teaser. It was packed with power-packed sequences and did not reveal much about the storyline.

Atlee has directed the movie and it features Amy Jackson and Samantha in female lead roles. ‘Theri’ will hit the screens in April.

A report on Indiaglitz says that the theatrical rights of ‘Theri’ were sold for Rs 6.5 Crore and managed to beat the business of Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali, whose theatrical rights were sold for Rs 6 Crore.

The business of Vijay’s Theri stunned the industry by gaining price better than the superstar’s movie.
