Bollywood perfectionist Aamir Khan’s Dangal movie release date is likely to be preponed to coincide with Independence Day. An official confirmation is awaited regarding the same.
Aamir Khan claimed that the movie is a patriotic one and talks about the empowerment of daughters of India. As the movie is based on the nationality and has the story of a character who tries hard to win the gold medal for India, Aamir wanted to release the film on August 15.
He feels that the release of ‘Dangal’ would be appropriate on August 15, 2016. Everyone knows that Aamir Khan’s movies release during the Christmas holidays but this year things are going to change with the release on Independence Day.
‘Dangal’ will clash with three movies such as ‘Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Mohenjo Daro’, which was directed by Ashutosh Gowariker and Akshay Kumar’s ‘Rustom’ and Abhishek’s ‘Phir Hera Pheri 3’ that are slated to release on August 12, 2016.
The ‘PK’ star will be seen playing the role of a wrestler and he has been undergoing training for his role in ‘Dangal’. The movie is based on the real life of wrestler Mahavir Phogat.
‘Dhangal’ tells the story of a wrestler through three stages of his life, as a 19-year-old, a 27-year-old and as a 55-year-old. It will also deal with the wrestler’s relation with his daughters Geeta and Babita Kumari Phogat. TV actress Sakshi Tanwar will be seen as Aamir Khan’s wife in the movie.
Actors Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Shaikh will play the roles of Aamir Khan’s daughters. Nitesh Tiwari has directed the movie and produced by Disney Studio India. Pritam will be composed the music, while lyrics will be written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
Aamir Khan has gained weight to fit into the role and weighs 90 kg. However, after finishing his shoot as a heavy weight wrestler, Aamir plans to shed the extra kilos to look like a 27-year-old man.
